Letter: Problems facing NI's car market is another example that we are being pushed out of the UK
A letter from Harry Patterson:

Jim Allister points out that due to the disastrous Windsor Framework it is highly likely that in 2026 the new car market in this part of the UK will be facing ruin.
New vehicles will have to adhere to EU specifications which are not the same as those required in GB. Manufacturers may feel it's not worth the effort and expense to adhere to both specifications, hence no new or at best a decreased choice of new vehicles for us.
Another example, not that we need it, that we are being pushed out of the UK by increments.

DUP MLA Jonathan Buckley says we are facing a looming cliff edge. This is a bit rich coming from a DUP MLA since his present and also his previous party leader stated that the sea border had practically disappeared.
The DUP seem to have developed a case of group amnesia when in comes to the Windsor Framework and what they claimed and said that it had delivered.
Unfortunately for them the ordinary unionist voters are suffering from no such complaint.
