Letter: Sir Keir Starmer’s political journey has certainly ended in failure, and the people of the UK have been left much worse off under his premiership
A letter from Stevan Patterson:

It is often said all political careers end in failure and that is most definitely the case with Sir Keir Starmer.
At his final PM's Questions, Sir Keir said it was the end of his political journey and that he was proud of everything he achieved.
Looking back over the last two years of his tenure as a Labour prime minister, it’s a political journey he’d been better not making in the first place for the good of our nation.

Despite high hopes and a massive Labour majority to govern, it has been one failure after another, with a few U-turns thrown in for good measure. He must be easy to please if he truly is proud in everything he has achieved. I most certainly am not pleased as his so-called achievements are not anything of substance, with higher taxes and crumbling infrastructure.
A Northern Ireland that continues to suffer the disastrous consequences due to the Irish Sea border and being under evil EU control with reduced choice and increased prices. These are serious issues he made no attempt to address.
A foreign policy that has put our relationship with our oldest ally, the US, under immense strain and which most likely will see the end of Nato.
In fact the people of the UK have been left much worse off under his premiership. A man who wanted to be prime minister, and once that was delivered to him through the ballot box was out of his depth and had no clear vision in how to exercise that power – except to cede more control to the EU and pay billions of taxpayers’ hard earned money for the privilege.
Sir Keir Starmer was an out of touch PM that did not even get the memo to know when his time was up.
