Your readers may not be aware that the Stormont executive (especially Robin Swann) are at present under pressure from pro-abortion lobbyists, including Westminster MPs,to provide funding for abortion clinics in Northern Ireland.

I hope Mr Swann, who claims to be pro-life, will unconditionally resist the demands of these groups. He will need the prayerful support of all Christians.

This is an opportunity to limit the obscene carnage of abortions in NI, which has already reached 1,000 terminations since the law was changed, almost the same as deaths from Covid-19.

There is a grotesque irony in the fact that as the NHS struggle to save lives, another part of NHS are deliberately ending the lives of babies in the womb.

How can it be legal to kill (murder) a healthy unborn baby but yet be charged with murder of a day old or week old infant.

This is typical of the deranged thinking of the political world today.

May all right thinking MLAs make every effort to end this evil in our land.
