It is almost painful to watch Rev Mervyn Gibson wake up to the realisation that Britain couldn’t care less about Northern Ireland!

He is just recognising the pattern that every post-war prime minister, including Churchill and Thatcher, has betrayed the unionists and likely will continue to betray them.

Sadly for him, there is no point in trying to go back: welcome to the future!

Re-unification is coming. Start working now to make it as fair and as successful, and as smooth, as possible.
