Perhaps we now know the reason for DUP dither on collapse threats

Might we now know why Sir Jeffrey had been dithering over his multiple threats to collapse Stormont? The Westminster government’s move to save Sir Jeffrey’s bacon in Lagan Valley looks like it was made in exchange for a DUP commitment not to rock the Stormont boat.
