Republicans who round on Alex Kane are consistent in their refusal to admit to any wrong

Some Sinn Fein supporters reacted defensively to Alex Kane’s tracing of how they were pampered by various government ministers in high office (May 25).

They want us to think they created their successes by their own ruthless efforts through bullet and ballot box. They are consistent in their refusal to admit to any wrong.

Likewise our valiant mainly DUP loyalist top brass grabbed opportunity for high office after selling us political spin that the country was betrayed by previous unionists leaders.

They still brazen it out and have no intention of honest admission they have dumped much of their former convictions.

Alex Kane in particular and the News Letter in general are bold enough to admit to our ‘warts and all’ which I find refreshing in days of political ostriches who think we do not see them with their heads buried in the proverbial sand and their posterior in the air.
