Ms Dudley Edwards’ analysis should give the unionist population some comfort, on a topic which has for decades been ignored by many sections of the press.

I hope it would not be inappropriate to suggest that at some stage she should consider the betrayal of many decent unionist and nationalist people by successive London administrations, the exception being the late Lord (Roy) Mason), and indeed by some local politicians masquerading as unionists.
