Since the bishops are in letter writing mode, here’s an idea...

Once again, we hear that the prolific Catholic bishops have sent yet another political ecclesiastical letter to the EU, various heads of state and international leaders, about Brexit and its dangers to the Good Friday Agreement (GFA).

Once again, we hear that the prolific Catholic bishops have sent yet another political ecclesiastical letter to the EU, various heads of state and international leaders, about Brexit and its dangers to the Good Friday Agreement (GFA).

Perhaps the good bishops might like to write to the Irish Government demanding they acknowledge and accept the consequences of their internationally-illegal and pariah actions when, for years, they willingly provided a ‘secure base’ for PIRA murders.

This state sponsorship allowed PIRA scum to kill UK, German, and Australian citizens with absolute impunity.

The continued denial of the ROI of its appalling behaviour over many years, and its harbouring of criminals like Father Patrick Ryan [a former priest from Tipperary who has admitted involvement in IRA attacks] and many others, does immense damage to the GFA.

Perhaps they could copy the letter to the EU as well asking them to put pressure on Dublin to fulfil its obligations under the GFA and bring those killers they are sheltering, to this very day, to justice.

They should point out all the while the ROI was acting as a rogue state, they were members of the EU.

Whilst they are in a letter-writing mode, they could write to Pelosi and Biden politely informing them that good Irish-American Catholics they rely on for votes were instrumental in funding and arming the PIRA terrorist scum who slaughtered innocents in their name, and they are as guilty of terrorism as those they funded.

Finally, maybe those exceptionally-moral bishops should send an epistle to the Catholic ethos motivated GAA, letting them forcibly know that every time drunken “Gaels” sing vile terrorist-glorifying songs, they are re-traumatising the countless victims of the PIRA killers they worship, whilst trampling on the spirit of the GFA.
