Stormont moved too soon to impose new Covid restrictions due to Omicron

The Northern Ireland Executive has been too hasty in imposing restrictions.

Research published by Edinburgh University on Wednesday, the same day the restrictions were imposed, show there is a 66% reduction in hospitalisation from Omicron. The university says this “weakens” the argument for restrictions.

The NI Executive have acted on the basis of fear, not data.

Their ‘table of six’ rule against dancing and standing in pubs is anti-social.

I hope the people stand up to them and get footloose.
