Thank you for the years you have served the people of Northern Ireland.

I am not a young man myself so I know we are not as sharp as we were and can say the wrong thing.

Beware if you go back to Westminster, certain groups might try to provoke you to blacken unionism.

It is time to walk away with your head high. Not many members of both houses know the trials you faced.

Enjoy the time you have left.
