The response to Covid-19 will destroy economies and cause greater deaths in future

When, in the past, did we feel concerned and consider imposing curfew conditions on a whole region when there was detected an outbreak of flu in that region?

We never did.

Yet Covid-19 is on a par with flu and may even have been mis-designated, as Covid-19 and flu share the same symptoms.

This would explain how the rate of increase in Covid-19 cases is comparable to the rate of decrease in flu cases. Covid-19 is not the deadly disease it was first seen to be.

Most people with Covid-19 don’t even show symptoms or at most show mild symptoms.

If it ever needed restating, but here goes: most deaths linked to Covid-19 are people over 75 years old. This is around the age most people die. We can’t live forever.

In imposing these lockdowns, we are restricting hospital and doctor’s appointments which is, believe it or not, in itself, causing many deaths.

We are depriving the NHS of funds as we’re destroying economies which, in itself, will lead to greater deaths in the future. So, what the hell is going on?

This is getting ridiculous. We are becoming so docile and sheepish that we seem to actually enjoy the feeling of complying with Big Brother’s dictates.

I’ve started praying recently as appealing to common sense and human intelligence seems to be the greatest futility.
