The rollout of vaccines is not a national race

Northern Ireland and the UK is only fully ahead in those that are half vaccinated, not those fully vaccinated.

This is not a competition in who can put the most jabs into people but an effort to get the population fully vaccinated as soon as possible.

There are two different methods being used.

It will be interesting to see which one will be the most successful in the long term but for now the figures of those fully vaccinated are as follows:

28,552 fully vaccinated in Northern Ireland (1.51% of the population fully vaccinated)

126,000 fully vaccinated in Ireland (2.57% fully vaccinated).
