Samuel Morrison (‘Statement from church leaders reads like an NIO press release,’ April 14) is, of course, entitled to pick holes, theological and political, in the joint statement issued by the church leaders.
I was pleased to see that statement carried in full by this paper.
Given the precarious and dangerous times we are going though in Northern Ireland, I am confidently hopeful that most readers will find much more value in the thoughtful and constructive comments of the church leaders than in the negative criticisms of Mr Morrison.
