We know from the learned QC that no political pressure from Sinn Fein was put on Belfast City Council officials over the closure of Roselawn for the Bobby Storey funeral.

However, do we know whether PIRA put pressure on the council over the arrangements?

Overtly or covertly coercing staff to allow the funeral to go ahead would be something they are very capable of.

Perhaps we need a wider investigation into the influence of PIRA Army Council.
