We were like Wild Rovers on our exuberant return from Morocco

Restaurants, cafes, shops, hotels. All air travel. My EasyJet flight home cancelled and no more thereafter.

Then salvation. A rescue flight on Thursday. The very last one.

Scheduled take off 11.30am, delayed to 1.30, boarded at 2.00, then sat on the stand waiting till the Spaniards and Portuguese lifted their no transit ban till and we did at last take off at 5.10.

But delays and uncertainty were forgotten when a tired but exuberant throng of Wild Rovers shivered their way into the Aldergrove terminal at 8.30,

No nay never no more?
