The WHO vaccination plan for Africa is extraordinary, given that the treatment is untested and will have unknown side effects
The total population of Africa is 1.2 billion people and the total Covid death rate for all of Africa up to now is 24,500.
Tanzania which refused to lockdown has had 21 Covid deaths out of a population of 60 million and Uganda has had 44 deaths out of population of 40 million (Worldometer update three days ago).

Hide AdIt seems extraordinary to me that WHO would propose such a massive vaccination campaign with a vaccine, that by nature of the speed with which it was produced will have completely unknown medium and long term effects, particularly since African death rates from Covid are so extremely low.
Such a vaccination programme would not be sanctioned anywhere else and it is certainly something that Black Lives Matter should be looking into.
