Your report on the Queen’s speech had no reference to the three times she mentioned her Christian faith

With reference to ‘A heartfelt message of hope from the Queen’ (December 26) in the Boxing Day News Letter by someone called Tony Jones, why do you think we need an interpreter for her wonderful speech?

The report made no reference to the three times she mentioned Jesus and her faith, and what light does.

If printed verbatim, we would have been able to see in print, what she really did say. We would be capable of assessing it ourselves.

I never expected the News Letter to join all the other unreliable sources of information, after centuries of reporting.

You do not appeal to younger readers, but those older ones who have faithfully stuck with you are being disappointed.
