New stress for livestock exhibitors at Balmoral Show

I am badly disappointed that the RUAS has adopted a new procedure for this year's livestock exhibitors at the Balmoral Show in that they will not allow their trailers to be parked beside the livestock marques as in previous years.

This new procedure causes further hassle and stress to exhibitors as they cant have easy access to equipment stored in the trailer.

It will also cause further congestion at the peak time when you offload livestock and have to drive to some far away park, remove your trailer and return to the livestock.

It also raises a security concern and access ability to your trailer if needed.

The committee gave little thought to these livestock exhibitors, to their needs, given the effort and costs involved.

I hope common sense might prevail beforehand.
