Northern Ireland's grammar schools come top again
A note to the first minister:
Dear Arlene (if I may),
Congratulations once again to the outstanding performance of Northern Ireland’s grammar schools once again, an example to their English and Welsh counterparts still lagging behind.
How fortunate I have been to have taught many brilliant students from Northern Ireland in Trinity College Dublin over the years since 1968.
On another note:
Please extend my congratulations to Andrew Trimble on his elevation to the captaincy of Ulster.
Totally well deserved.
Very best wishes,
Gerald Morgan, FTCD (English Parliamentary Party, 2001), Gloucestershire County Scholar at Monmouth School, 1953, Dublin
