Offering a Wright friendship
I am seeking a persons or persons in Ulster for sharing emails back-and-forth.
The purpose of the exchange will be for me to learn from you about everyday life in Ulster (your place in the world), and for you to learn from me about everyday life in the “Thumb” of Michigan (my place in the world).
That my late father occasionally spoke a bit of Scots, as well as words unique to Northern Ireland, plus a dozen or so years of my having researched my family genealogy, indicates that my Wright ancestors arrived at the USA from Ulster, albeit a very, very long time ago.
