Paralympians deserved Windsor Park invite

The decision by IFA not to allow Michael McKillopp and Jason Smyth to take part in the parade at Windsor Park was a disgrace.

First of all there our most successful ever sportsmen: five gold medals each in the last three Paralympics, an amazing achievement. We are all Irish whether you live North or South.

We are all from this island. Paralympians have to overcome so much adversity in their lives just to compete that surely they should be recognised more.

Jonathan Rea has also achieved great things and more of these Irishmen like this should have been recognised by the IFA. It doesn’t show IFA in a good light.
