Presbyterian ambiguity over homosexuality

I would like Reverend Sellar to clarify his comment (February 3) that he 'respected individual Christians from a gay orientation'.

This is a typically ambiguous statement from a politically correct Presbyterian Moderator (elect).

He correctly condemns homophobia but fails to condemn homosexuality as it is clearly condemned in God’s word (Romans 1 v26-32; Leviticus 18 v22).

Jesus refers to Sodom as an example of God’s judgement (Matthew 11 v24; Genesis 19 v4-13).

Nowhere in Scripture is homosexuality(‘gay orientation’?) excused but instead is something to be repented of (2Corinthians 12 v21).

Is this another example of a ‘PC’ leader who is afraid to stand up for Biblical standards?
