Rationale is sought for honour award

I am not intimating for a moment that Mr Donaldson does not deserve this award, but such an accolade elevates a man to the same category as Sir Francis Drake, Sir Winston Churchill and even Sir Alex Ferguson.

I am sure Mr Donaldson’s achievements equate with those of the luminaries referred to above and I apologise for my ignorance in not being aware of them.

If someone could enlighten me on this matter it would be much appreciated.
