Recollections of beatings at the Maze prison

If unionists or screws have a problem with it, why don’t they write a book about the part they played during the Blanket protest leading up to the hunger strike and then to the escape.

I’m sure a lot of republicans would love to read their side of story – about the beatings of naked prisoners, hosing them in their cells, forcing them over mirrors and shining a flash light on the mirrors to look up their back passage or better still inserting their fingers up while men were sprayed eagle over a table, and this is only the tip of the iceberg.

I for one would buy this book and let as many people read it that wanted. Thank you for your time.
