Trump has an easy act to follow after President Obama's foreign failures

Following the barrage of bile from the cacophonous Anti Trumpites regarding his suitability to enter the White House as President, let me assure all those who may have required a sip of laudanum that all is well.

He has an easy act to follow.

Barack Obama’s foreign policy will arguably go down as the worst in the history of the United States.

The Obama doctrine has failed miserably.

His naivety to the atrocities in Aleppo never mind Iraq and Libya, while cutting a deal with Iran, which was ‘ open sesame’ for them to wage a proxy war in the region wherever took their fancy.

All the time this was going on Russia invaded Ukraine and annexed Crimea and is now the leading world power.

Global terrorism surged on Obama’s watch and as a new impeccable report by the Institute for Economics and peace will confirm, the death toll in the Syrian war is bordering half a million.

The worst year for terrorism was 2014 with 93 countries suffering an attack and 32,765 people losing their lives, 2015 was the second worst with 29,376 people killed. Last year four radical Islamic groups,Isis, Boko Haram, the Taliban and Al Qaeda were responsible for 74% of all deaths from terrorism.

For the present incumbent of the White House to claim that he is succeeding against what he describes as ‘violent extremism’ is absurd and a bigger con than anything Trump has uttered.

To be a success all President Elect Trump has to do is counteract all of Obama’s foreign policy.

No doubt the present crop of Anti Trumpites will regale us with cries of, we knew he could do it all along.
