UK never voted for loss of sovereignty
In response to the letter by Roderick Downer (March 28):
The writer seems to be missing the point of the EU referendum. The whole thrust of his argument is the single market which the UK previously voted in favour of. What the UK did not vote for was political union and loss of sovereignty to undemocratic bureaucratic institutions.
