Unionist unity the opposite of what NI needs

Arlene Foster has called for unionism to unite under a single party.

In my opinion, this is the opposite of what it needs.

I am aged 25 and I don’t care about unionism and nationalism, I don’t really have an opinion on it.

What I care about is social and economic issues in Northern Ireland.

The fact is, I care about progressive and left wing politics, and that’s what I vote on.

I can’t be the only one. And the fact is, nationalist parties tend to be more left wing than unionists.

If there was a unionist party that stood for progressive social policies, and left-wing economic policies, I may vote for them.

Unionism doesn’t need to unify, it needs to diversify.
