We need a robust apology for 30 years of terror

I wonder if some unionists will alter their perspectives after listening to lectures on the Irish rebellion by historians who I am sure published books and views many years before now.

The centenary republican activists whilst not getting promises from unionists to join their event programme that we know of will nevertheless take some comfort that they engaged in some form of state recognition.

What we need is a revelation of the unsolved crimes in our time and a robust unqualified apology for around 30 years of terrorism. If we do not get that it will show the crass insincerity and hatred some republicans still have for the pro-British people of the province.
