Who cares abour proxy votes when we are losing our youth

Arlene Foster is concerned about the proxy voter explosion (May 16).

She should get out a bit more, visit our ports and airports.

Droves of Irishmen and women forced to go abroad to work. Parishes and football fields are haemorrhaging their youth as a result of no gainful employment.

We had the great and the good including Arlene and Theresa at the Balmoral show, while this gigantic site with so much potential for investment and employment lies empty 11 months of the year.

This is more important than peoples’ motives for seeking a proxy vote.
