Why I am backing Boris on Brexit

Since joining the EEC (European Economic Community) it has turned out to be a European Economic Calamity.

We have seen our coal, steel, shipbuilding, car and textile industries go to the wall, with agriculture, fishing, aviation and engineering now struggling to exist.

Regarding agriculture, the Common Agricultural Policy seems to be more of a common agricultural problem because of the diversity of climate, land types and crops.

Since the Brexit debate began we notice that the euro has increased in value. This of course is to encourage Britain to stay in Europe, the UK being one of the largest contributors to EU – of course they want us to stay.

Regarding immigrants, if Europe is such a special place why do they risk life and limb to get to UK? Given the number of countries they travel through, why is the UK their preferred choice?

Obviously it’s because of our very generous welfare system, our booming economy and wishy washy politicians who lack the courage to stand up to the unelected bureaucrats in Europe. Most of whom are aboard the European gravy train.

As far as trade is concerned, we purchase more from Europe than they purchase from us. They will still want to sell us Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi, Opel, Renault, Citroen, Peugeot, Fiat and Seat plus trucks and agricultural machinery.

So lets put the Great back in Britain, stop being subservient to Europe and REGAIN control of our own destiny.
