Young nationalists have no centre ground parties they can support

I read Ben Lowry's article about the Rory McIlroy generation and voting (May 7) '“ there is a lot of truth in it but he is still missing a point in my opinion.

Young Catholic middle class have no nationalist centre ground representative to vote for.

I believe work should pay, revenue raising, and general non left wing politics (support gay marriage and other liberal progressive policy also).

Ten of my friends in what’s app group are all in this box.

Four voted SF – the rest didn’t vote for reasons above.

All are strong nationalists though, so his article doesn’t tell the full story.
