Appeal for witnesses into fatal collision involving Kawasaki motorcycle on June 20 - 57-year-old man died at the scene - PSNI appealing for driver of a Silver Nissan X Trail to contact them

Police, investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the Ballylesson Road in Lisburn on Saturday 20th June, have renewed their appeal for witnesses.

The collision happened around 2.10pm at the junction with Mill Road and involved a white Hyundai car and silver Kawasaki motorcycle.

A 57-year-old man who was riding the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Inspector Darren Hardy said: “Police continue to appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have captured the collision on their dash cam, to get in touch with us.

“I am particularly keen to speak with the driver of a Silver Nissan X Trail that was travelling on the Hillhall Road/Ballylesson Road around 2pm on Saturday as they may be a potential witness to the collision”.
