Ballyclare road tragedy: PSNI issues specific witness appeal

Police investigating a road traffic collision last Monday (January 11), in which a male driver died, have issued a specific witness appeal to a driver.

Inspector Siobhan Watt said: “The two-vehicle collision on the Carrickfergus Road, close to the Ballylagan Road, Ballynure, was reported to police at approximately 9.15am, and involved a car and a lorry.

“We would ask the driver of a white van towing a trailer believed to have been travelling ahead of the car involved in the collision, to please get in touch with police in the Collision Investigation Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 285 of 11/01/21.”
