Belfast PSNI seeking help to locate missing Latvian man

Police in Belfast are seeking the help of the public in tracing the movements of a 75-year-old Latvian man

Juris Plankis has been missing since arriving in Belfast on the ferry from Scotland on March 31.

A message posted on the North Belfast PSNI Facebook on Monday afternoon said: “We need to find him to make sure that he is ok.”

Mr Plankis is described as 5ft 5” in height, wearing a blue flat cap, black jumper and a blue scarf.

He has a large handlebar moustache, wears glasses, and was carrying a large blue and yellow rucksack.

The Tennent St PSNI message added: “If you see him, or if you know where he is please call us on 101. The incident number is 1600 of 03/04/21.”
