‘Birdman’ Leslie Harrison has died suddenly

A bird lover, who was at loggerheads with Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Council for feeding pigeons, has died suddenly.

Leslie Harrison, who was a regular figure in Portadown town centre, died suddenly at his home in Victoria Terrace yesterday (Wednesday).

Mr Harrison was often spotted feeding the birds every day - a habit which was also taken up by other people.

Mr Harrison will be lovingly remembered by Ann and his children Tracey, Sharon and Keith, grandson Luke and great granddaughter Anna.

The house and funeral are private to due current restrictions.
