Coronavirus NI: Another 149 people test positive bringing total to 689 in last 7 days - no deaths in last 24-hours - 4 people fighting for lives in ICU

Another 149 people have tested positive for Coronavirus, the latest Department of Health dashboard reveals.

That means that 689 have tested positive in the last 7 days and 8,780 in total here.

According to the latest statistics there have been no deaths in the last 24 hours leaving the death toll at 573.

However, according to NISRA, the number of deaths primarily due to Covid-19 in Northern Ireland has risen to 755.

It was the underlying cause in 91% of fatalities that mentioned the disease on the death certificate, the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency said.

The Department of Health dashboard reveals there are now 4 people with COVID-19 in ICU - and 21 confirmed COVID-19 inpatients.

Meanwhile there are now 25 active COVID-19 outbreaks in NI Care Homes.
