That figure is comprised of 260 women and 285 men.
To date 364 people aged 80-years and older have died with the virus, 157 peple aged 60-79 years, 23 people aged 40-59 years and two others.
The latest dashboard reveals that there are now two people in Intensive Care in NI fighting for their lives with coronavirus.

Hide AdMeanwhile there are now 45 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in NI Care Homes - and 20 suspected cases of the virus.
The latest figures on the department’s dashboard show there have been no further confirmed positive cases of the virus, meaning the total still stands at 4,871.
Chief Medical Officer Michael McBride has welcomed the second day that Northern Ireland has recorded no new infections, but has “urged caution”.
At the daily Stormont brief, the chief medical officer said “the virus has not gone away” and “remains a real threat”.

Hide Ad“We will continue to see localised clusters and infections in the coming weeks and months ahead, Dr McBride added.
Dr McBride said Northern Ireland’s progress in combating the virus has “only been made possible by a societal effort” and has asked for that effort to continue.
