COVID-19: Another two deaths in NI brings death toll to 518 - six patients now fighting for their lives in ICU

Another two people have died with COVID-19 in Northern Ireland.

According to the Department of Health dashboard the total deaths in NI is now 518.

So far 267 men and 250 women have died with the virus.

The table also reveals that to date - 345 people aged 80-years and older have died - 149 pepole aged 60-79 years, 22 people aged 40-59 years and two others.

Meanwhile the statistics also reveal that the deaths took place in - 302 in hospital - 184 in a Residential/Care Home - 16 in the Community - and 16 whose location is not recorded.

The latest statistics show there are now 69 patients with coronavirus in NI Care Homes - and 34 patients with suspected COVID-19.

And presently - according to the statistics - this is how Health Trusts in Northern Ireland have managed COVID-19 patients -

Belfast trust - 97 inpatients - 607 discharged

Northern Trust - 112 inpatients - 1247 discharged

South Eastern Trust - 200 inpatients - 1449 discharged

Southern Trust - 88 inpatients - 1356 discharged

Western Trust - 93 inpatients - 1142 discharged
