Death toll with Covid-19 remains at 2,146 and 99 people test positive

There have been NO deaths in the last 24 hours in Northern Ireland, the latest Department of Health dashboard has revealed.

That means the number of deaths in NI remains at 2,146.

The dashboard also reveals there have been two deaths with Covid-19 in the last seven days.

AND another 99 people tested positive in the last 24 hours.

That number rises to 624 new cases in the last seven days.

The latest statistics also reveal that there are now 72 patients with Covid-19 in our hospitals. This is down from 76 patients seven days ago.

And according to the data there have been 20 hospital admissions in past seven days - which is down from 43 the previous week.

Today, according to the dashboard there are seven people with Covid-19 in ICU - this is the same number as yesterday.

And as of today there are six cases of Covid-19 in NI Care homes.

Meanwhile there now a total of 1,397,087 vaccines have been administered in total
