Excess speeds of 101mph and 99 mph recorded over weekend - drivers now have fines and court appearances - PSNI say ‘don’t join them’

NI Road Policing and Safety have posted examples of the speeds drivers were caught doing over the weekend in Northern Ireland.

A post on their Facebook page shows an example of the speeds recorded - 101 mph, 99 mph and 97 mph.

The post adds: “Just a few examples of the excess speeds detected by RPU Steeple officers this week.

“Traffic flow is increasing daily, please adhere to the posted limits.

“These drivers will have fines, points and court appearances due to their actions, please don’t join them.
