“He was found yesterday morning and outcome was not what the family hoped for.

“We all helped in looking for Mark in our own way and now I ask for help again in laying Mark to rest so the family can focus only on their healing and not having stress of money on their shoulders.

“Every little helps & is greatly appreciated”.

A separate Gofundme appeal - by Rebekah Simms - also appeals for people to make the Wright families lives as easy as possible.

On the appeal it says: “Mark Wright aged only 24 went missing from his home in East Belfast on Thursday the 3rd of September 2020.

“After four long horrible days of hard work in searching for Mark, a body was recovered by the PSNI.

“That body was Mark Wright.

“You can only imagine what his family are going through at this heartbreaking time, our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.

“No family should ever have to go through this.

“I have decided to create a go fund me page in aid of Mark Wright’s family to help them pay for the funeral expenses at this difficult time

as this is not something any family should have to worry about, especially for their son.

“Please, if you can, donate. No amount is too big or small.

“Thank You”.
