Funeral details released for keen sportsman Arnie Clarke who died whilst trying to rescue his dog from river

The funeral details have been released for Arnie Clarke, who died last week in Tollymore Forest Park.

Sports clubs in the Antrim area have already paid glowing tributes to Mr Clarke, who died following a tragedy last Thursday (February 16).

Arnie Clarke is reported to have gotten into difficulties and drowned while trying to rescue a pet dog from a swollen river.

Police has said the 56-year-old’s sudden death is not being treated as suspicious.

Funeraltimes.com say that his Requiem Mass will be held at 10am in St. Comgalls Church, Antrim with burial immediately afterwards in Belmont Cemetery.

He is being deeply mourned by his parents - Robert and Margaret - partner Nicola and children - Tony, Kane and Kelsea.

He is also deeply missed by his siblings Martin, Sean and Aidan.
