Time restricted roadside parking is available opposite the new branch and there is more time restricted parking with a designated disabled bay available nearby on Carnegie Street.

The move to the new site follows a period of local consultation last year with members of the public invited to share their views on the proposed relocation.

The Post Office said all the feedback received helped to better understand the views of customers and their representatives and this was taken into account, along with all other relevant factors, in making the decision to relocate.

A spokesperson for the Post Office said: “The current branch has been operated on our behalf by a temporary postmaster. Whilst this arrangement has enabled us to maintain access to Post Office services to our customers, we now have appointed a new permanent operator who has identified an alternative location to operate Lurgan Post Office.”
