Motorists are being asked to SLOW DOWN today due to the weather conditions.

A post on on PSNI Newry and Armagh Facebook page says: "There is standing water on the A1 on both sides due to the weather conditions.

"There has already been 2 collisions.

"There will be intermittent land closures to facilitate recovery.

"DEAD SLOW".
