Cats Protection launched the UK’s Black Cat Day 10 years ago with the aim of improving adoption rates for black and black and white cats.
As you can see, the owners of these fabulous black cats definitely believe they are just purr-fect!

Christine Moore: "My beloved Arthur - three years old. Arthur is a rescue and I have had him since he was five weeks old. In fact he is that special he is fitted with a GPS tracker, in case he gets lost."

Jackie Harvey: "My two black floofs. The baby is the fluffy one, Tilly and the older rescue is Bella. As good as gold and I love them to bits."
