PSNI and Garda Síochána launch appeal to find missing NI man Seamus McCarney - last seen on Saturday

The PSNI in Fermanagh and Omagh and An Garda Siochana in Donegal have issued an appeal for the whereabouts of 34-year-old Seamus McCarney.

Police Fermanagh and Omagh, in an online appeal, say they “are becoming increasingly concerned about Seamus McCarney”.

Seamus is 34-years-old and from the Omagh area.

The post adds that he “was last seen in the Milford area of Co.Donegal on Saturday morning (8th Aug)”.

“Described as slim build, 5ft 8ins tall, hazel eyes and unshaven,” adds the post.

“Last seen wearing dark clothing and possibly a baseball hat.

“Quote ref 2574 09/08/20 with any information by either PM or ringing 101”.

In an earlier appeal, Gardaí in Milford say they “are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Seamus McCarney, 34 years, who is missing from Ramelton, Co. Donegal since Friday 7th August, 2020”.

Seamus, had been visiting family in Donegal at the time he went missing.

In a statement, issued earlier today, the Dardai add: “Seamus is originally from Omagh but was visiting Ramelton with family.

“He was last seen on Saturday morning at 9.30a.m. in Milford town.

“He is described as being 5’9”, with short brown hair and a beard, of medium build with brown eyes.

“When last seen Seamus was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, black tracksuit top, black shoes and a black nike peaked cap.

“Anyone who knows of Seamus’s whereabouts or can assist Gardaí in locating him are asked to contact Milford Garda Station on (074) 9153060, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station”.
