‘I can’t believe I am typing this but… I have decided to leave Q Radio..

‘I want to thank all of my wonderful on air colleagues over the years for supporting me through thick and thin and I want to wish all the current presenters the best luck

‘Most of all and most importantly I want to thank you my listeners.

‘We have been through it all… good times, bad times, global pandemics and more.

‘You have shown me more love and support than I ever could imagine… and for that I am forever in your debt.

‘It breaks my heart that I’ll not be part of your morning routines any more.

‘Throughout my time on Q radio I have presented Saturday Breakfast, weekday afternoons, Saturday mid-morning and the Q Radio Breakfast Show.

‘I have married the love of my life and have a beautiful daughter too.

‘It has been a dream come true and I am so glad you were there to tune in and spur me on! You gave me the energy and motivation to create the magic.

‘Never did I think in my wildest dreams that I would follow in the footsteps of some of the finest broadcasters in Northern Ireland but I’m so humbled and thankful for every moment.

‘I am going to take some time out to be the best husband and father I can be for my girls.

‘Lots if love and best wishes
