Tyrone Grand Orange Awards Night: Full list of winners and 30 photographs from sold-out Orange Order event at Burnavon Theatre

Held in the Burnavon Theatre, Cookstown, the event saw individuals, lodges, junior lodges and bands recognised for their contributions in areas such as Christian outreach, culture and heritage, lecturing, fundraising, community involvement, sporting achievement and membership growth.

Among those in attendance at the sold-out event were Bro Derek Reaney, Deputy Grand Master of Ireland, and Cllr Frances Burton, chairperson of Mid Ulster District Council.

Guests were welcomed into the venue by the sounds of Tamlaghtmore Silver Band. A night of recognition, music and fellowship followed, including special performances from Derryfubble Accordion Band and Derryloran Boyne Defenders Flute Band.

There was a high standard of nominees across all categories, showcasing the wide-ranging breadth of work being carried out at lodge and district level.

“Generous” applause was extended to each recipient for their dedication, service and excellence.

Bro Ian McClung, chairman of the Co Tyrone Orange Network, brought the night to a close with a vote of thanks, commending all the nominees and winners for their hard work throughout the year.

An Orange statement read: “Overall, the awards night was a tremendous success — not only in recognising achievement, but in strengthening fellowship and celebrating the continued growth and vitality of the organisation within the community."
