Police appeal for witnesses after indecent assault of 13-year-old schoolgirl

Police said the incident happened around 5.10pm yesterday (Tuesday) in an alleyway near Thomas Russell Park in the town.

The girl, who was dressed in her school uniform, fought the attackers off and escaped across Dunleith Park.

Police said the men were dressed all in black and that the attack happened in an area of poor light.

They are appealing for information.

They are particularly interested in speaking to a woman who was walking a dog in the area just before the attack happened.
