Police regard the death of a man in republican west Belfast as suspicious, an MLA has claimed.
The victim is understood to have died at the Divis Flats in the lower Falls.
Late last night Sinn Fein MLA Fra McCann said: “It is too soon to speculate as to the cause of death but the PSNI are treating it as suspicious.”
There were few other details at time of writing.
Also on Sunday night, a man in his 30s was shot in one leg in the Springview Walk area of west Belfast.
